Mudurnu Vocational School was established by the decision No. 117 of the Higher Education Council on 22.08.1997. With the approval of the decision No. 2006/9–17 of the Senate of Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University on 05.04.2006 by the Higher Education Council on 05.05.2006, it was renamed Mudurnu Süreyya Astarcı Vocational School.
The school consists of six departments: Plant and Animal Production, Management and Organization, Hotel, Restaurant and Catering Services, Architecture and Urban Planning, Forestry, Veterinary Medicine. Under these departments, the following programs are offered:
- Medicinal and Aromatic Plants
- Poultry Farming
- Beekeeping
- Business Administration
- Tourism and Hotel Management
- Architectural Restoration
- Forestry and Forest Products
- Laboratory and Veterinary Health Programs
