Poultry Breeding Program:
It is the first program of Mudurnu Süreyya Astarcı Vocational School and also the first Poultry Breeding Program in Turkey. İzzet Baysal University Mudurnu Süreyya Astarcı Vocational School started its activities by accepting associate degree students in the 1997-1998 academic year with the Poultry Breeding Program.
At the end of the second year, students who successfully complete the courses graduate from the program as Technical Staff.
The poultry sector is a developing field of work and there is a need for trained manpower in this field. The fact that poultry products are less harmful to human health compared to other animal products also reveals the importance of this branch day by day.
Poultry Breeding Technicians can find employment opportunities in public and private sector farms, in regions where coops and hatcheries are dense. There are employment opportunities in the marketing units of tools and equipment used in poultry breeding. In the private sector, feed factories and facilities where it is produced, zoos and poultry equipment manufacturing companies are other places where there are job opportunities. They can also establish their own farms and produce. Graduates from our program can also make vertical transfers to the departments related to animal husbandry in the Faculties of Agriculture.
