Mudurnu Süreyya Astarcı Vocational School hosted an important event to contribute to our youth taking a step towards a healthy future. Authorities from the Bolu Provincial Police Department's Narcotics Crime Presidency organized awareness trainings for students on combating addiction.
The training focused on individual and social responsibilities in combating addiction, and students were informed about new practices and strategies. In particular, methods for detecting the symptoms of addiction, recognizing individuals in their environment who need help combating addiction, and effective methods for combating addictive substances were discussed.
Authorities provided detailed information on the effects of the addiction process on an individual's life, and offered practical suggestions on how young people can protect themselves and their environment. In addition, the use of technology in combating addiction and ways to communicate with relevant institutions were explained to students.
This meaningful training was a valuable guide for students to take more conscious steps in combating addiction. In the event, where the importance of social solidarity was emphasized, students drew attention to the fact that strengthening individual awareness in combating addiction plays a vital role for the general health and peace of society.
